Get to know me better
Hey! I am Bjorn van Heertum and I see myself as a starting explorer of the world. In recent years, I have started to discover more, both alone and with others. For example, we want to look for the most beautiful and unique locations on this globe as much as possible. I want to break out of my comfort zone. Since 2022 I've been sharing my experiences and giving you tips in articles that you can read here on Road to Freedom. Hopefully I can inspire you to plan your adventurous trip yourself.

What I already did
Since obtaining my HAVO diploma in 2015, I have obtained an MBO-4 diploma for Assistant accountant. Here I learned a lot about doing finances within companies and was allowed to do this at two accountancy firms in Den Bosch and Schijndel. I then obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration and in the third year I focused on event management. So I have together with my group "hyped out" a one-day event organized at Stichting Hortus in Nijmegen. I also did an internship at the Flik-Flak Foundation in Den Bosch, where I was asked to write a marketing plan for their events. At Happy Talents in Eindhoven I gained knowledge about online marketing and researched the number of participants in the training courses they provide.
I have had several side jobs, the most recent of which is at Thuisbezorgd.nl in Den Bosch. I have been employed here for more than two years and I had a very nice time with great colleagues. Cycling around the city and being in the open air all day long has given me a very good feeling.
